FREE CHILDCARE!!!

I'm so excited!!! We have FREE CHILDCARE for the march up to the end of the workshops thanks to Olympia Childcare Collective, who provide

free, cooperative and community-driven care for children of individuals wishing to participate in local political events. The group initially began to provide that service for POWER, Parents Organizing for Welfare and Economic Rights in 2010 during their board meetings and workshops.

If you RSVP by emailing them at olychildcarecollective@gmail.com They'll be available at POWER from 12, when the March starts, to 9 pm, when the last workshops finish up. Thank you Olympia Childcare Collective!!

SlutWalk's finalised March Route!

We'll start at Sylvester Park, march up Capitol to 4th and make a right.
We'll go as far as the Artesian Well and turn right again.
Then we'll take 5th back to Washington and turn LEFT.
A final Right on Legion will take us back to the Park for our Rally and then the rest of CONSENTFEST!

The party starts October 1 at noon! See you there?

Hello Olympia!

Who wants to help us out? We won't make you guess what we need, we'll tell you and you can decide if you'd like to do it:

• Resource Manager: Someone with a truck who can go around and pick up supplies we need, make sure they get to the right places for the right events, and get borrowed ones back to their homes after the event
• Support Volunteers (30 hours minimum training in Support/Advocacy for Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Survivors)-to lend an ear to people who need it day of event (email us at consentfestolympia at gee mail dot com)
• Funds--we need $2000 in cash AND in-kind donations (thats food, juice, art supplies etc). You can send it through our Sponsoring Organization, Partners in Prevention Education (just tell em it's for ConsentFest)! Any non-coercive and honest way of making the money is fine--bake sale? yard sale? co-workers group donation? FANTASTIC!!
• Signs for SlutWalk march at noon! We would love positive signs celebrating sex positivism and resisting sexual assault/rape culture
• Medics for the March, Rally, and workshop spaces would be wonderful.
• Day of: We need folks to help keep the park and our workshop spaces--the Co-Lab and SafePlace--clean and tidy!
• Interpreters! We'll feed you and be really really grateful
